John W. Spotts has run some of the largest corporate trademark licensing programs in the United States, including the Coleman program, where Mr. Spotts served as VP, Licensing, signing over 20 new licenses in three years, developing the Coleman program into the #6 largest corporate licensing program by License! Magazine in 2005. Mr. Spotts began his career with Woolrich, serving as VP Marketing and Licensing, with notable achievements including signing 12 new licenses, including a major international agreement with WP Lavori and a home furnishings license with Target. Mr. Spotts has also run and developed licensing and international programs for:

Equity Management – Vice-President, Client Sales Manager over the Goodyear, Valvoline, Cessna, Bell Helicopter and E-Z-GO programs

Sharper Image – Senior Vice-President, Brand Licensing, signing 12 new licenses in the first 18 months

FranklinCovey Products – Senior Vice-President, International, signed 3 licenses, including license withCross Pens

Eddie Bauer – Senior Vice-President, Licensing and International, signing 12 new licenses in 18 months, including 2 international franchises, leading turnaround of the outdoor industry’s largest licensing program.
